정수진 개인전은 ‘인간의 의식의 흐름’을 ‘회화’라는 매체를 통해
감정표출로써의 수단이 아닌 객관적인 정보를 포함한 표현매체로 시각화한다.
또한 의식의 흐름이 무 작위로 흘러가는 것이 아닌 기하학적인 형태로 다차원의 넘나들 수 있는 가능성을 제시한다.
색채와 형상에 대한 보편적인 표현과 해석을 뛰어넘은 새로운 추상이 다음 세대의 담론을 이끌어 낼 수 있는 기회를 시사(示唆)한다.
이번 전시를 통해 인간의 자각능력의 한계와 가능성을 동시에 인지하고,
2차원 평면에 드러나는 다차원의 의식세계에 대한 이해도를 높여 새로운 시도를 이해할 수 있는 시간이 되기를 기대한다.
Suejin Chung’s solo exhibition explores the “flow of human consciousness” through her painting,
not just as a means of emotional expression but as a medium that conveys objective information.
Her work suggests that consciousness does not drift randomly but follows geometric patterns, hinting at the potential to transcend certain dimensions.
